(2 1/2 years to 3 years)
In the Busy Lizzie room, the children are encouraged to make decisions and choices (under adult supervision) regarding which activities they would prefer to play with.
The children are encouraged to sit quietly at their chosen activity, which helps develop their concentration skills.
Activities such as colouring, chalking, sticking and jigsaw puzzles help to develop their children's hand eye co-ordination and fine manipulative skills.
We encourage a lot of talking during circle-times as this activity develops the children's language skills and also it develops a sense of worth and respect for others.
