About Us

Foundations Day Nursery was first established in 1993, by the present pastor Maldwyn Jones. It was his inspiration all those years ago that has taken Foundations Day Nursery to where we are today.

The Nursery itself is split into three sections, the baby unit, the main nursery and the afterschool club. Each area of the nursery is designed to fulfill all the the needs for the developing child.

The baby unit was first opened four years ago, the unit is totally dedicated to young babies with excellent staff to care for them and encourage them as they grow.

The 18 months to 3 year old children are based in the part of the nursery that is situated on the first floor of the main building. There are five rooms in total, and the children start here from 18 months old in the Daisy room, and progress through to the new pre School room (Bluebells).

To compliment our service, we have an Afterschool Club (Cool kids) which is held in the Les Hogg Hall situated on the first floor of the baby unit.

Our aim at Foundations Day Nursery is to provide the children with the highest level of care available.
